Online chat can refer to any kind of communication over the Internet, but is primarily meant to refer to direct one-on-one chat or text-based group chat (formally also known as synchronous conferencing), using tools such as instant messengers, Internet Relay Chat, talkers and possibly MUDs. The expression online chat comes from the word chat which means "informal conversation"

Everyone spends a lot of time going online.. some people spend more time going online then going about their normal life..
One of the main attraction of going online, to me is the fact that you can chat without having to face the person.. this however can be a good thing, and it can be a bad thing...
First of all, we dont have to face the person face to face.. people that communicate online can be more confident when chatting online compared to when they have to communicate face to face...
However, the bad thing is also the fact that we cant see each other....
Online gaming is so common around teenagers these days... i remember the time when one of my friend hacked a player from an online game by saying that he is a cute girl... my friend randomly took a pic from the net and send it to the other guy.. the other guy was so happy because he thought he knew this really cute girl and gave his game id and other rare stuff to my friend...
The point of this post is to tell.. or rather warn people of the dangers of chatting or developing relationships through the net

Graphic Design and Communication?
Graphic design is referred as to a number of artistic and professional disciplines which focus on
visual communication and presentation.
Graphic Design is actually a going on process of designing and producing communication designs to create products.
Graphic Design spans the history of humankind from the caves of Lascaus to the dazzling neons of Ginza. In both this lengthy history and in the relatively recent explosion of visual communication in the 20th and 21st centuries, there is sometimes a blurring distinction and over-lapping of advertising art, graphic design and fine art. After all, they share many of the same elements, theories, principles, practices and language, and sometimes the same benefactor or client. In advertising art the ultimate objective is the sale of goods and services. In graphic design, "the essence is to give order to information, form to ideas, expression and feeling to artifacts that document human experience."So that's a little bit about Graphic Design so let talk more about Visual Communication.
Visual communication
is
a communication with visual aids.
It is the conveyance of ideas and information in forms that can be read or looked upon. Primarily associated with Two dimensional images, it includes: signs, typography, drawing, graphic design, illustration, colour and electronic resources. It solely relies on vision. It is form of communication with visual effect. It explores the idea that a visual message with text has a greater power to inform, educate or persuade a person. It is communication by presenting information through Visual form. The evaluation of a good visual design is based on measuring comprehension by the audience, not on aesthetic or artistic preference. There are no universally agreed-upon principles of beauty and ugliness. There exists a variety of ways to present information visually, like gestures, body languages, video and TV. Here, focus is on the presentation of text, pictures, diagrams, photos, et cetera, integrated on a computer display. The term visual presentation is used to refer to the actual presentation of information. Recent research in the field has focused on web design and graphically oriented usability. Graphic designers use methods of visual communication in their professional practice.

No man is an island; man cannot do without socializing. In the course of socializing, events occur. It is man’s nature to react to events by acting, thus circumstances will always crop up that will warrant man to deal with his emotions. How many times have you said something that you wished you had not said? How many times have you acted on impulse that you wished you had not? What is emotion? Can it affect productivity? Can it ruin? Everybody ought to know!
According to Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary, “emotion is a strong feeling such as love, fear, or anger: the part of a person’s character that consists of feelings”. Since blood runs in our veins, everyone has the propensity to be emotional; no one is exempted. More often than naught, we allow our emotions to rule us thereby acting irrationally. Our irrational action(s) in turn gives us bitter product(s). Shall we then give in to emotions at our expense? Shall we consciously fall into an abysmal pit with our eyes open?
Emotions can put you in trouble. It can even ruin you, but for control. Without exaggerating, the ability to control emotions will separate the strong from the weak, the winners from the losers. According to Bruce Lee, “Emotion can be the enemy; if you give in to your emotion, you lose yourself. You must be at one with your emotion, because the body always follows the mind.”
There’s nothing cool in you loosing control over any issue. Vehemently resist the urge whenever nature calls, don’t let emotions cloud your reasoning so much that it’ll affect your decision(s) and action(s) thereby sealing your destiny. Tackle nature, rule your emotions!

One of the cave man's first inventions was the handy sharpened stone, the all-purpose skinning and killing tool. This later adapted into the first writing instrument, which was used to keep records of hunting trips. Cave men also scratched pictures with the stone tools onto the walls of their caves. Most of the cave drawings represented events that happened in daily life such as hunting victories or planting.
The Egyptians however created symbols to express their writing.. Here are some examples of the meanings of Egyptian writing symbols

There are six levels at which people can distance themselves from one another:
1. Withdrawal is an absence of interpersonal contact. It is both refusal to be in touch and time alone.
2. Rituals are meaningless, repetitive routines devoid of real contact.
3. Pastimes fill up time with others in social but superficial activities.
4. Working activities are those tasks which follow the rules and procedures of contact but no more.
5. Games are subtle, manipulative interactions which are about winning and losing. They include "rackets" and "stamps".
6. Closeness is the aim of interpersonal contact where there is a high level of honesty and acceptance of yourself and others.
Working on improving your communications is a broad-brush activity. You have to change your thoughts, your feelings, and your physical connections.
That way, you can break down the barriers that get in your way and start building relationships that really work.
